The Production Assistant is responsible for various television production duties required to record scenes for live and recorded broadcasts.

Minimum 2 years of on-air promotion experience as a writer/producer/videographer/editor for a local station or cable network working in a news environmentPossess a strong understanding of design, typography and compositionMust have ability to work flexible hours including weekends when neededStrong non-linear editing skillsPassion for strong image and promotion writingWorking knowledge of lighting and audio gearPossess excellent communication, presentation, organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasksMust have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully interact with all departmentsMust be able to provide a reel of work examplesMust have a valid driver’s licenseSets up cameras and related equipmentTests, cleans, maintains and repairs camera equipmentPerforms other duties as assignedExcellent communication skills, both oral and written.Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Other duties as assigned
