Job Description: Production Associate

Work Location:  1124 Bennett Clark Rd
Nacogdoches, TX 75961

Shifts: Monday – Friday 7am to 3:30pm, occasionally OT on Saturdays

Pay: $15 to $17 per hour

Overview

Endura is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team!
The primary purpose of this position is to produce a quality product in an assigned production area while keeping up with basic line production.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform machine operation or assembling of components in an assigned production department.Learn all areas and responsibilities of the assigned position and cross-train in other functions of the work cell. Learning will include successful operation and the skills required of a work center and the production and quality standards associated with the processes involved.Communicate to the department lead as necessary to maximize safety, production, quality, and minimize controllable downtime.Maintain excellent housekeeping of the work area and any other spaces as directed.Consistently maintain good attendance.Follow all standard work rules for the work cell.Other duties as assigned.Perform duties with the highest regard for safety.Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function.Attention to detail with a focus on quality.Ability to accurately read measuring tape 1/16"-1/32"Ability to read and interpret customer specification sheets.Standing for 10-hour shifts with fast repetitive movementHand tool experience- wrenches, hammers, drills, multiple sawsAbility to recognize defective material prior to processing in a timely manner.Ability to work in a team environment.Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Ability to bend, stoop, lift, and move consistently throughout entire shift.Must be willing to be cross trained to do other job functions within other departments.Exposure to normal factory environment: dust, heat, and noise. Candidate must be able to withstand heat more than 95 degrees.Must be able to lift at least 35 lbs. consistently throughout a 10-hour dayTo meet customer demands, overtime may be required.

Job Requirements:

Must be willing to work within a team setting and provide support to other crew members if needed.Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.Ability to adhere to safety rules and always maintain awareness of surroundings.Dependable team player with interest in advancing and expanding product knowledge.Basic math skills and physical dexterityPunctual attendance and good timekeeping skills are a must.High school diploma/GED preferred.A successful candidate will have good hand dexterity, agility, and a high degree of motivation.
