Salary Range

Reporting Structure

 

The Production Department Assistant reports directly to the VP of Production.

 

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

 

The Production Department Assistant position will play a key role in organizing, coordinating, and processing seasonal information to vendors and management through the production process.  The Production Department Assistant will help to align production team goals across the women’s and men’s business from an operational standpoint through organizing, coordinating, and processing seasonal reporting.

 

Manage and consolidate all reporting required for COGs initiative – fob savings, freight savings, packing method savings, tariff participation, etc.Provide master recaps for all above initiatives to VPSeasonal and liability reportsPartner with Production team members to pull data from system and compile seasonal reportsUpkeep and add to reports including Year Over Year Recap, Vendor Recap, Warehouse Recap and open PO reportsValidate Seasonal margin reports from system and audit for accuracy.  Provide recap by division/programs as needed.Oversee current liability report and record of past liabilities              Schedule monthly liability meetings between Merchandising, Planning and Production teams                Submit month end final liability chart to Finance for review and approvalReview and bring to legal team’s attention any variances regarding OFAC and Supplier Affidavits for bulk qualitiesCoordinate with tech team to update seasonal label manuals as needed as well as BOM illustration and label placement to upload into the supplier portalReview with production team best shipping method for all programs and publish seasonal shipping method recap to logistics/tech design/productionAssist with landing cost sheets as needed Distribute weekly Care Content Report Maintain and update the testing manual for garments and fabricSupply weekly in-transit report to Quality AssuranceMaintain and update the quality assurance manual for garments and fabricConsolidate WIP status tracker report weekly and distribute to VPDepartment specialist for AX system, Bi reports and AirtableWork closely with IT to trouble shoot issues and discrepancies with system reportsTrain production team on running system reportsDevelop new reports as neededCreate charts as needed by the VP of Production and/or Production team – and help update if neededSeasonal allocation and capacity by division/vendorSustainability tracker all vendorsDelivery improvement tracker per season per divisionVariance chart per divisionVendor capacity and holiday dates per yearManage calendar for VP of Production Submit expenses through Concur and track team expenses on chartBook travel arrangements and assist with trip itinerary Assist in coordinating Production team vendor visits to LA Design Studio Duties as assigned

Qualifications/Experience We’re Looking For:

 

Four-year college degree preferred 1-2 years of experience in production/manufacturing or related apparel experienceExperience in Excel, Word related programExperience in Airtable, AX and Power BI systems preferred
