Your role and responsibilities

ABB Large Motors and Generators factory in Jüri, Estonia is looking for a Production Development Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will play a key part in improving production processes, supporting equipment maintenance, and ensuring smooth operations across our manufacturing systems.Working model is: Onsite #LIonsiteYour main responsibilities will include:• Support production equipment and solve any related issues• Lead and contribute to process improvements and equipment upgrades• Ensure proper documentation for equipment and processes is created and stored• Help manage maintenance processes in the Electrical Field• Assess maintenance performance and take action if quality metrics are off-target

Qualifications for the role

Higher technical education (mechanical or electrical) or equivalent job experience in a electrical fieldKnowledge of industrial automation equipment, 6-sigma, and 5SUnderstanding of electrical devices and equipment (ability to work with electrical systems is a must)In an ideal case, a background or qualifications related to electrical engineering would be a plusExcellent written and spoken English and Estonian skillsGood computer skills (e.g., MS Office, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar)Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multicultural team and focus on results
