Production Director (Atlanta Syrup Plant)

As the Production Director you will lead plant syrup manufacturing in alignment with company quality, service, and cost expectations. The individual will serve on the Plant's leadership team and is responsible for leading and supporting a culture of safety, collaboration, continuous improvement, growth, and inclusion. Responsible for delivering results across all lines and shifts in the facility. This will be accomplished through the effective leadership and development of managers, technicians, and hourly associates.
**Key Responsibilities and Job-Related Duties**
+ Prepare and manage departmental costs and variances with regard to productivity, short and long-range planning, labor scheduling, product scheduling, raw materials, packaging supplies, product weights, sanitation and housekeeping.
+ Organize and facilitate production line scheduling, staffing, output, and associate training to ensure customer service level requirements are achieved at lowest possible cost and at the optimal safety, quality, and employee engagement.
+ Adhere to Company policies in a consistent manner that assures optimal Employee Relations and engagement.
+ Collaborate with Suppliers, Engineering, Quality, Peer Leaders, and Associates to drive continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
+ Support Associate involvement in Safety Culture Improvement, Problem Solving, Corrective Actions, Project Design Review, Vendor and Customer Relations.
+ Monitor and assure all area practices are compliant with HR, Quality, Safety and Environmental policies.
+ Deliver effective and positive communication across all shifts with associates, Leadership Team, Senior Leaders, key internal and external Supply Chain stakeholders.
+ Monitor productivity data and develop and implement strategies necessary to achieve annual productivity improvement requirements.
+ Lead a culture of Zero Safety Incidents for the Production Department.
+ Act on quality issues and concerns, determine necessary corrective actions to eliminate repetitive failures working alongside the QA Director and our Supply Partners.
+ Lead ISO and External Audit Compliance for department, ensure auditing, document review, procedure development and corrective actions are completed in a timely and effective manner.
+ Adhere to Coca-Cola quality standards to ensure product quality and Food Safety by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), standard operating procedures (SOP's) and Coca-Cola's KORE specifications
+ Fully engage and be a champion for the development of the Managers including but not limited to hosting Performance Enablement feedback sessions monthly, creating Development Plans, and development of Succession Plans.
+ Serve as SAP Subject Matter Expert for production, understand, implement, and sustain SAP processes required to record production movements, track material and inventory usage, and maintain inventory accuracy. Develop SAP competency with Managers and Associates.
**Education and Additional Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or Technical Degree is preferred
+ Preferred 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a Food & Beverage or CPG manufacturing environment is required
+ Food & Beverage production and packaging experience preferred.
+ Leadership experience within complex manufacturing facilities with diverse teams is strongly preferred
**Technical Skills**
+ SAP Experience
+ Knowledge of ISO Systems: ISO9001, 14001, 22000, 22002, 45001
+ Knowledge of OE Tools: Lean, Kaizen, TPM-AM/PM
Pay Range:$120,000 - $135,000
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage:30
Annual Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role. It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.
