**PRIMARY FUNCTION** **:** Plan, layout, install, wire and test electrical equipment and make supervised tests on all products according to standard work.
**2nd Shift-Full Time**
**Job** **duties/Responsibilities** **may include, but are not limited to:**
+ Planning, laying out and installing electrical equipment and components from complete or incomplete engineering specifications, schematics drawings; manually or with jib or overhead cranes, bending and threading machines etc.
+ Laying out and installing routine wire circuits and connect pre-wired components.
+ Determining length, measuring, cutting cable, conduit and running wire using hands and install using jib and overhead cranes, power tools, pliers, soldering equipment, strippers, screw drivers, hammers, power drills, etc.
+ Completing circuits and test using watt meters, volt meters, phase sequence meters, tachometers, stroboscopes, etc.
+ Stripping, splicing, soldering and connecting lugs, terminals etc.
+ Making tests using complex testing equipment.
+ Performing tests on standard units not involving adjustments.
+ Diagnosing troubles and making necessary changes and adjustments.
+ Understanding rotating, relay and electronic circuits and leading others in installation, testing and diagnosing.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Experience with Instruments, testing equipment, test motor generator sets, drills pliers, wire strippers, other hand and power tools, jib and overhead cranes, drawings, wire diagrams, etc.
+ Experience with electrical equipment and components, conduits, wires, cables, straps, tape, other miscellaneous hardware items, etc.
+ Ability to read schematics and blueprints.

+ This position is located at the Caterpillar manufacturing facility located in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin
+ **2nd Shift**
+ **Full Time position**
+ Pay: Step 1 - $27.98 hr, Step 2 - $29.15 hr, Step 3 - $30.32 hr plus an additional $1.00 for 2nd shift premium.
+ No relocation assistance is available.

**Summary Pay Range:**
$27.98 - $34.98
