Production Engineer
Category: Kalmar Facility: Operations / Assembly Location: Stargard, PL Production Engineer Purpose of the position Preparing production implementations and making ongoing technological changes aimed at cost reduction, production optimization, increased work efficiency, and ensuring the highest product quality. Main tasks and responsibilities + Development of production processes + Participate in creating layouts and configuring production/assembly lines. + Select methods and tools used for production/assembly. + Contribute to the implementation of NPI (New Product Introduction) projects. + Support the preparation of technical documentation for products. + Assist in managing engineering changes (EO and ECR). + Provide expertise in developing workplace/assembly instructions. + Improvement of production/assembly processes + Continuously enhance and optimize existing production/assembly processes. + Participate in process changes and optimize component management. + Implement solutions aligned with Lean philosophy. + Take part in CI (Continuous Improvement) and EUREKA projects. + Optimization of production tools + Ensure the most advanced and efficient tools are used in production/assembly. + Use quality and quantitative methods to improve production/assembly line efficiency and optimize resources. + Ensuring the highest quality in production processes + Develop quality assurance processes within production/assembly areas. + Initiate and participate in root cause analyses of nonconformities. + Engage in actions to eliminate nonconformity effects. + Collaboration with other departments + Work closely with other teams to develop and improve supply chain processes. What you’ll need to succeed We encourage candidates withelectrical skillsand a background in control systems to apply! Essential: + Bachelor’s degree in engineering. + Basic knowledge of CAD software. + Communicative English skills (min. B1). + Familiarity with hydraulics and electrical systems. + Ability to read technical drawings. + Proficiency in MS Office. + Teamwork skills. Desired: + Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related fields. + Six months of experience as a Production Engineer or as a technologist for machine assembly. + Familiarity with ERP systems. + Knowledge of welding, materials engineering, and control systems. + Expertise in 3D design tools. + Understanding of Lean principles and 5S tools.
