Production Engineer
Job Title: Production Engineer Summary:Production Engineer will be responsible for execution for assignment unit operation, covering in Rayong site, Thailand. Handling and supporting for assignment related to unit operation (P1, P2, P3, Emulsion, C1, C2, C3, C1P, Utility) in terms of coordinating and ensuring smooth operation in their respective area. Responsibilities Include: + Ensure process & equipment reliability, all equipment’s in production process are in the good condition. + Ensure production operation comply with standard procedure. + Ensure production process and production activities are complying with EHS requirements + Ensure quality of product is conformed to our QC specification. + Ensure the production are follow to the plan with the right quantity & right time. + Ensure that the operators are follows all-established policies, procedures, standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001 OHSAS, business ethics, and other basic compliance requirements. + Ensuring regular employees and contractors are well-informed of the hazards they are facing such as potential of fire, explosion or toxic release hazards related to the contractor’s work and the process. + Ensuring shift operators / contactors to work under EHS rules and regulation and promote for EHS matter. + Ensuring the operators are periodic, documented inspections are required for several systems, including Pressure vessels, Storage tanks, Piping systems, Ventilation systems + Implement and maintain 5S & Gemba board in production area. + Supporting to achieve company and department KPI + Working closely with MTN team to ensure all equipment/instrument in production has good reliability and ensure complete repair work/PM as plan. + Process Hazard Analysis requires that engineers and maintenance leaders analyze the consequences of safety failures. + Review safety procedures every time to perform pre-startup for both new and modified facilities. This rule applies even if the procedural changes only affect a single component or process. + Manage change via MOC for related activity or project for improvement within their responsible area + Be able to issue safe work permits to employees and contractors working near covered processes. + Lead & facilitate own EHS management system element + Lead exposure reduction event + Provide necessary training of job, skill and knowledge for operators/contactors. + Supervise daily operations to all operators / contactors. + Work closely with SIOP team to optimize planning to achieve schedule attainment target + Lead & support for VCP program + Production variance analysis and provide comments to the finance team + Initiate, lead and analyze data from OEE and set up improvement plans + Leading team to investigate when product not conforming with the specification + Supervise & support operation team for trouble shooting + Other assignment work. #LI-PP1 Qualifications: The following are required for the role + Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology. + Experience >5 years' experience in production or process engineering. + Computer literacy and + Good command of English communication + Safety consciousness + Knowledge of Polymer Technology and/or Compounding is an advantage + Experience of engineering from Chemical industry is preferred. + Hands-on and detailed work oriented + Strong in systematic thinking and mind map + Energize and Passionate + Good Team player What We Offer: At Momentive, we value your well-being and offer competitive total rewards and development programs.
