Your day as a Production Engineer
This position is responsible for supporting production for good yield, good maintenance and good work standardization as well as focus on process improvement.
To do so, you will be in charge of:
■ Put in place PCP & SOP to ensure all production applies the right standard. Recommend projects for quality and productivity, product performance, safety, and ergonomics improvement including optimization of consumables. Provide data analysis on quality issues.
■ Coach and train production teams for technical knowledge. Provide information/training for EOL Engineers / Supervisors Level.
■ Support product and equipment and machine validations. Provide relevant information to carry out the proposed improvement. Participate in prototype and pilot production.
■ Support production for better material and process flow.
■ Enhance safety consciousness and awareness in the workplace by respecting EHS rules
■ Functional management and supervision for technicians or process trainers to achieve the technology and knowledge transfer.
■ Acts as project leader or member. Set and implement project meetings. Provide relevant information.
■ Flow down and cascade global information to staff.
■ Continuous improvement activities.
■ Lead specific flow (special project, existing to improve, new flow, new customer) and make the proposal of improvement. Get a global vision of the flow (from a process standpoint).
■ Ensure that the Company Health, Safety, and Environment policy as well as relevant safety legislation are observed and followed.
What do we ask from you?
Required Qualifications
■ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
■ 1-8 years of experience as a process engineer or industrial engineer, continuous improvement engineer
■ Good in English, able to communicate effectively both written and spoken.
■ Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
■ Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
■ Systematic thinking, good analytics, self-motivation and high responsibility.
Preferable qualifications
■ Technical knowledge of Statistical Process Control and/or troubleshooting is preferable.
■ Overseas working experience and/or working experience in a Western company is preferable.
■ Gained TOEIC score above 550 or a similar English proficiency test result is preferable.
■ Background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen Data analysis
