Who We Look For:

In PGIM Fixed Income, our technology group is a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with exciting changes on the horizon under new senior leadership. We are looking for a well-rounded individual to be part of the Application Service Delivery team to manage the production environment. Our ideal candidate will be an eager learner interested in gaining valuable experience in managing complex investment management platforms and applications.  This will include front-office investment systems, business support applications and complex back-office data management platforms. What You Will Do:

Provide application production management for systems used by front office, Operations, and client teams.

Monitor and troubleshoot issues in the PGIM Fixed Income technology batch environment.

Available to be on-call for failure escalations including evenings/weekends on a rotation basis.

Participation in the incident and problem management processes

Follow best practices established for incident, change and problem management processes.

Collaborate and communicate internally with the business and technology stakeholders.

Build relationships by learning from senior team members and other technology partners.

Interface with external vendors when troubleshooting production issues.

What You Will Need:

1-2 years of experience working in a technology role preferably in software development and/or application support.

Demonstrate initiative to learn daily job responsibilities through active collaboration with senior team members.

Able to send clear and concise communications to stakeholders with supervision.

Experience with writing database queries using SQL (MS SQL preferred)

Familiarity in navigating and writing commands in the Linux operating system.

What We Would Love to See:

Experience working in Cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure)

Experience using scheduling tools (Autosys preferred)

Software development skills to perform code changes for bug fixes or for automation tasks.

Self-motivated to operate independently and make necessary decisions within the global team.

Strong team player, results oriented with a flexible approach.

Comfortable operating in high pressure environments whilst managing multiple incidents.

Ability to deal with and navigate difficult situations through strong teamwork.
