Activities

As a Production Engineer, you will ensure the safety, efficiency, and optimization of our production processes. Key responsibilities include evaluating the impact of Fitness-For-Service assessments, managing processes related to Downgraded Situations, Operations Readiness and Assurance, and reviewing inhibits and long-term isolations. You will facilitate the rollout of new procedures offshore, maintain the "Risk and Opportunity" register, and participate in risk assessments such as Hazard and Operability Studies and Hazard Identification. Additionally, you will update local platform procedures, contribute to shortfall estimations, and address immediate challenges. You will also ensure the issuance and follow-up of shortfall Root Cause Analysis and remediation plans. In production optimization, you will resolve daily tasks, maintain communication with Integrated Production Operations Center team members, provide diagnostics and troubleshooting, and ensure production upsets are managed effectively. Visiting offshore Installations to ensure good corporation and knowledge is present from between site and support department 

 

These areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as: 


Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

Facilitate the rollout of new procedures offshore when neededEvaluate the production impact of individual Fitness For Service registered on site. Organize and follow up on Down Graded Situations and Operations Readiness and Assurance processes with site and onshore stakeholders.Review and assess inhibits and long-term isolations for day-to-day operations.

 

Methods:

Review and update local platform procedures, deliver templates, document numbers, and collect final signaturesAct as the custodian of the "Risk and Opportunity" register, ensuring weekly reviews with offshore superintendents.Participate in relevant risk assessments, such as Down Graded Situations  assessment, Hazard and Operability Study, Hazard Identification, and well service programs.Contribute to shortfall estimation from close in of producing wells and validation for short, mid, and long-term activities.Review Request For Modification as needed and address immediate challenges.Facilitate, follow up, and finalize shutdown reports in collaboration with the Production Superintendent.Ensure shortfall Root Cause Analysis and remediation plans are issued and properly followed up.

Production Optimization:

Resolve daily tasks and problem-solving.Maintain good communication with Integrated Production Operations Center team members when production is at stake.Provide initial diagnostics, checks, and troubleshooting in collaboration with Tier 1 and site production teams.Ensure production upsets are identified and included in a remediation plan. Your background

Education: Master’s degree in Science, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.

Maskinmester – Proven offshore experience 

Experience: Oil & Gas industry, with potential offshore exposure.Skills:Strong analytical and methodical mindset.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with peers both in the office and on-site.Proven ability to work across different functions and manage change effectively.Strong focus on HSE standards.Language: Fluency in English.
