Your role and responsibilities

ABB Smart Power is a global technology leader, with products and solutions that make power supplies smart, connected and protected. Its intelligent products and solutions make power more competitive by improving the energy efficiency,productivity, and reliability of almost any operation.Join our dynamic Production Engineering team and report to the Product and Production Engineering Manager. As a key member of the Smart Power team in Västerås, Sweden, you'll be at the heart of innovation within ABB's Electrification unit. Our mission is to manufacture cutting-edge low-voltage products, including large contactors, soft starters, pilot devices, and safety products.In this exciting role, you will:• Drive Innovation: Lead the development and optimization of production lines, ensuring they meet and exceed technical specifications throughout both the development phase and their ac-tive lifecycle.• Collaborate and Support: Work closely with a talented cross functional team, providing support and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.• Pioneer New Procedures: Develop and implement innovative procedures that will set new standards for the role and the industry.If you are passionate about pushing the boundaries of what's possible and eager to make a significant impact, we want you on our team!Your role and key responsibilities• Develop and implement production processes to enhance efficiency and quality.• Identify and solve production-related problems with creative and effective solutions.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.• Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.• Lead projects aimed at optimizing production workflows and reducing costs.• Continuously working with balancing of the production lines

Qualifications for the role

Self-driven and goal orientedUniversity degree within mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering or equivalent Knowledge in tools/Methods like: MS Office, CAD, SAP, PFMEA etc. is beneficial experienceFluent in Swedish and English written and spokenPositive and proactive mindset, collaborative, clear in communication and result oriented person-ality that enjoy solving problemsLean Six Sigma Green belt is beneficial
