Production Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Electronic Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget. The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the Distribution Solutions Division within the Electrification Business Area in Dalmine. You will be mainly accountable for:• Monitoring profitability of products such as EBIT, Marginality based on technical competences• Data analysis and processing with reporting in graphs and tables.• Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implementing improvement projects, ensuring adherence to time frames, quality and cost requirements• Developing and maintaining VBA applications and databases to automate repetitive tasks and speed up workflow• Product Cost calculation and estimation • Ensuring optimal efficiency in production methods, equipment performance and materials/components• Identifying and implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in line with cost, safety and timing requirements• Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality and cost reduction, coordinating the necessary activities• Supporting marketing teams, factories and customers about electronic product functionality and performances

Qualifications for the role

High school Diploma or Degree in Electronics or Automation You possess knowledge of general accounting principles such as EBIT, profit margins, cost center composition, cost allocation, etc. You have the ability to analyze and process data and an aptitude for using software. You have the skills for reporting and creating graphs and tables. Knowledge of Excel, Power BI and basic programming languages would be considered a plus. You have the willingness to work in a team and with different stakeholders. You have good communication and interpersonal skills You are at ease communicating in English and Italian, both written and spoken
