As a Production Exec, you will need to ensure operations adhere strictly to operating procedures, maintenance program, quality, 6s and safety requirement following international quality standards and requirement.You will report directly to Plant Manager and you will work onsite at PJ Plant.
Main Responsibilities
Ensure the compliance to PPG EHS and Quality requirement.
Lead the respective EHS elements, ensure the production team adherence to the Life Critical Rules (LCR).
Lead a team of production leaders and workers in implementing daily production activities, manage sub-ordinates attendance, timekeeping, and overtime.
Organize work schedules to ensure its in line with production planning and ensure the production planning is adhered by the production team and maintaining the quality standard.
Work with the process team and technical to improve the paint formulation base on the operation practice and process improvement (LEAN activities)
Review and do time study to maintain and improve the productivity of the work area.
Promote and enforce the Yield loss improvement, Cycle count and SSPL (reject products) at production floor level.
Ensure that the daily production needed stocks are replenished on-time as per production schedule requirement to ensure no interruption in production run.
Ensure all the production records and batch card are timely updated and kept for auditing.
Oversee, control, train, motivate and assess team members in all aspects affecting their work performance and encourage teamwork among the employees of the affected departments. Also, you will be to maintain good relationship and teamwork spirit with your peers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Engineering or equivalent required.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in automotive, coating field or manufacturing environment.
Have experience in the ISO 90001, ISO 14001 or IATF16949 systems.
Able to work with multifunctional team and control the shopfloor.
Resourceful and a team player with the ability to work independently in a dynamic and challenging environment and cross functional team.
Imaginative and creative in your about what is possible.
Strong analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office application
Excellent communication abilities; written and verbal.
