Production Group Lead

Schedule: D Shift (8:00 PM to 8:00 AM)

How will you make an impact?
You will lead and manage the back end of the manufacturing line, ensuring efficient operations, quality standards, and team performance. Your ability to organize, motivate, and maintain workflow will be key to meeting production goals and continuous improvement.

What will you do?

Coordinate with the Manufacturing Supervisor to organize line workload and staffing based on product priorities.Ensure work meets or exceeds Jabil workmanship standards, and closely monitor the CIQ system to address repetitive issues immediately.Minimize changeover times through organized, well-planned processes.Ensure minimal excess material on the floor and maintain proper stock levels for supplies and equipment.Verify that accurate, current, and authorized documentation is available on the line.Inform and instruct employees on deviations or changes to processes.Notify the Manufacturing Supervisor of any employee concerns, problems, or recommendations promptly.Continuously seek improvement in all areas of responsibility.Ensure all line personnel are thoroughly trained, certified, and performing their assigned functions effectively.Motivate and challenge team members to achieve their full potential, providing direct and timely feedback.Track production to ensure all deadlines and schedules are met.Ensure all policies and procedures are read, understood, and adhered to by the team.Enforce safety rules and ensure all employees use the required protective equipment.Keep the assigned area clean and organized at all times.Adhere to all safety, health, and security regulations associated with the position.

How will you get here?

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Two to six years of experience in a relevant Jabil production position or an equivalent combination of experience and education.Experience in printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing is strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Strong organizational and leadership skills.Ability to manage and motivate a production team effectively.Proficiency in problem-solving and process improvement.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Familiarity with safety and health regulations in a manufacturing environment.Ability to track and meet production deadlines.Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in PCB manufacturing.Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role in a manufacturing environment.
