**Description** **JOB ASSIGNMENT:** **WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR** **LOCATION:** **WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT** **SHIFT:** **Third Shift** **SUPERVISOR:** **Tucker Eye** **POSITION DESCRIPTION** **:** Position opening for a wastewater treatment plant employee to assist the Wastewater Treatment Plant Supervisor in operation of the wastewater treatment plant facilities. Responsible to fill in for regular shift operators during vacations, absences. If plant is running **DUTIES INCLUDE** **:** + Assisting with operation and maintenance of the wastewater plant facilities and equipment. + Performing sample collection and assisting with sample analyses. + Must have some mechanical skills. + Clean outside trash dock and help repair trash boxes. + Maintains all log books including sampling, maintenance + Cleans wastewater treatment plant facilities and wastewater pits. + Notifies supervision of areas with potential problems. + Other duties required by the Supervisor + Must have a good attendance **POSITION REQUIREMENTS** **:** + Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds. + Must be Self-motivated and be able to work alone.
