We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions. **The Role:** Xylem is seeking a Production Laborer to support processing, production, packaging, maintenance, and shipping at our anthracite processing facility. **Essential Duties/Responsibilities:** + Perform general labor duties, including production, packaging, shipping, housekeeping, and general plant tasks while adhering to safety processes. + Handle materials, including operating forklifts, front-end loaders, road/floor sweepers, etc. + Operate and maintain equipment such as fluidized bed dryers, air compressors, dust collectors, screeners, weigh-feeders, conveyor belts, bucket elevators, and bulk packaging systems. + Maintain accurate records for production, inventory, shipping, and training. + Perform other assigned duties and follow safe working practices. **Minimum Qualifications:** + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Ability and desire to multi-task in a plant environment with varying elements. **Preferred Qualifications:** + 2 years of experience in Mobile Equipment Operation & Maintenance. + 2 years of experience in Processing Equipment Operation & Maintenance. + Experienced Miner Certification (MSHA). **Physical Demands:** + Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. + Work around processing equipment (conveyors, hoppers, belt-feeders, packaging). + Climb ladders, steps, and elevated platforms. + Regularly required to stand, reach, bend, squat, push, pull, and move about the facility. + Occasionally work from heights. + Safely operate mobile equipment in open cabs. + Work in cold environments (seasonally). + Work in hot environments (seasonally). **Work Environment:** + Coal processing environment. + Potential exposure to coal dirt and dust (PPE provided). + Subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations (20°F to 95°F). + Typically 8-10 hours per day. + 4-5 days per week.
