Our client, a high-volume food production facility specializing in fresh produce, is looking for a Production Lead to join their team in Swedesboro, NJ. This hands-on role oversees a production line of 5–6 team members, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety in daily avocado packaging operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily activities of dumpers, machine operators, packers, and palletizersMonitor pace and quality of production, adjusting workflow as needed to meet quotasEnsure machines are properly supplied with labels and packaging materialsCommunicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding issues or updatesCoordinate product replenishment and employee breaksTroubleshoot minor issues and report larger concerns to supervisorsEnsure proper use of PPE and compliance with all safety protocolsUse provided handbook to assist with label printing, pallet separation, and inventory trackingSupport team development through training and mentoringAssist with cleaning or additional tasks when production is low to maintain 40-hour workweeks

Requirements:

Bilingual in Spanish and EnglishFlexible schedule; must be available for varied start times (6:00 AM, 8:00 AM, or 10:00 AM)1+ year of team leadership experience, preferably in a fast-paced production environmentStrong communication, problem-solving, and accountability skillsAbility to coach, resolve conflict, and maintain high standards of performance

Pay & Schedule:

Pay: $18.00 – $19.00Monday to Friday; start times vary (6:00 AM, 8:00 AM, or 10:00 AM) with shifts typically lasting 8–10 hours
