Join our client's team at a pioneering solutions company as a Production Line Lead - Quality Control based in Rosedale, MD. If you have prior experience with GMPs, and food safety programs (SQF, etc.), you're already ahead in the game. Responsibilities include overseeing individual production lines or two similar production lines to ensure that all personnel are on task and to aid in the overall performance of the line. Line leads are also responsible for reporting major line downtime issues to the supervisor of manufacturing for plant reliability tracking.

The Day-to-Day:

Responsible for keeping pace with assembly line speedsEvaluate off-quality packaging and separate per acceptance criteria from products to be shippedCommunicate with the Production Supervisor and the Quality Leader on QA/Q- related concernsInspect ingredients for foreign matter before adding them to hoppersPerforms assigned site cleaning schedule expectationsAny other function management deems essential

Qualifications:

High School DiplomaPrevious line lead or/and supervisor experienceKnowledge and experience with GMPs, food safety programs (SQF, etc.), manufacturing, production, packaging, and distributionMust be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, kneel and stoopBasic math skills

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$15.00 to $18.00 per hourMonday to Friday (Occasionally work a Saturday based upon the business need)5:45 AM to 2:30 PM
