Join our client's team at a pioneering solutions company as a Production Line Lead - Quality Control Associate based in Rosedale, MD. If you have prior experience with GMPs, food safety programs (SQF, etc.), and have Line Lead experience, you're already ahead in the game. Responsibilities include overseeing individual production lines or two similar production lines to ensure that all personnel are on task and to aid in the line's overall performance. Line leads are also responsible for reporting major line downtime issues to the supervisor of manufacturing for plant reliability tracking.

The Day-to-Day:

Responsible for keeping pace with assembly line speedsDirect workflow of associates on the lineEvaluate off-quality packaging and separate per acceptance criteria from products to be shippedCommunicate with the Production Supervisor and the Quality Leader on QA/Q- related concernsInspect ingredients for foreign matter before adding them to hoppersPerforms assigned site cleaning schedule expectationsAny other function management deems essential

Qualifications:

High School DiplomaPrevious line lead or/and supervisor experienceKnowledge and experience with GMPs, food safety programs (SQF, etc.), manufacturing, production, packaging, and distributionMust be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, kneel and stoopBasic math skills

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$18.00 per hour (based on experience)
