Our client in the Philadelphia, PA area is looking to hire a Production Line Lead for their location. The ideal candidate will need to have at least some basic lead position / supervisory basic experience. Responsibilities include assisting Process Control Coordinator and Production Supervisor in keeping the production floor clean and organized. Enforce and participate in Food Safety Awareness protocol and communicate and enforce cGMP’s. A line lead will have on average 10-15 assembly workers that he/she would oversee. Initially, the candidate will be 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm. There have been discussions that eventually the hours may need to change ( possibly 4:00 pm – 12:30 am)

The Day-to-Day:

Review job jacket with the Process Control Supervisor and associated line layoutAttend FPA meetings when necessaryAssist with line setupRequest all materials and components required to set up and run the assembly lineCheck all pallets brought to the line for proper description, part number, and quantityEnsure FG pallet load tags are correct as completed and prior to the product being forwarded to the warehouseTrain and supervise line workers regarding the scope of work, quality, safety, work rules, and anticipated line efficiencyInform quality, Process Control Supervisor, and Production Supervisor of any potential material, assembly line, or personnel issuesEnsure all line worker's names, agency, and hours are entered into the system accuratelyPerform hourly quality checksLine efficiency whiteboard kept up to dateEnsure the product coming off of the line meets quality expectations and parametersReview line layout for potential line efficiency improvements

Qualifications:

High School DiplomaBasic lead position / supervisory basic experienceGreat attention to detail

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$13.00 to $15.00 /hrMonday to Friday12:00 PM to 8:30 PM
