Pay Range: $24.00 - 28.00 per hour + shift differential
Shift(s) Required: Monday – Friday, 2nd shift, 2:15pm – 10:45pm
Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, and on occasion different shifts.

The Operations Lead Person is an hourly position and is responsible for the safe operation of their shift team. Responsible for overseeing training and job performance of Operators to ensure high quality and efficient operations while demonstrating a positive and inclusive culture.

Job Responsibilities:Follow the expectations of all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards.Coordinate operations colleagues to complete all necessary tasks for the shift.Ensure coverage for employees who are out on vacation, illness, or other reasons.Ensure production schedule is followed daily, meeting production and quality goals.Work with Production Supervisors to resolve production issues.Assist investigating deviations on batches, yields, and complaints.Review daily production logs.Responsible for participating and managing record keeping, safety, quality, and production related activitiesMaintains compliance of housekeeping/master sanitation scheduleLeads shift exchange review and response meetings to communicate warehouse key process indicator performance.Provide mentoring and training to colleagues.Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Leadership.At times, overtime will be required – including job coverage.

Minimum Requirements: Must be 18 years or older Basic math and reading skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred Experience in Industrial Manufacturing and/or similar military environment (preferred) Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship 
Physical Requirements and Working ConditionsAbility to move about on a work site by ascending/descending stairs, extensive walking, climbing steps or ladders, prolonged periods of standing and sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling, or squatting frequently Ability to operate equipment or machinery that may be located at different heights with open view grating from multiple elevations or in confined spaces Ability to lift up to 50 pounds overhead Ability to traverse two (2) miles or more during the course of a workday Ambient conditions – Work area is, typically, a non-air-conditioned production environment. Working in in extreme heat and cold in all seasonal elements, both indoors and outside on a regular basis.Atmosphere: May come in contact with Dust (Peanut - known allergen), corn, cotton, canola seed, chemicals and odor Must be able to work around vibrating equipment and noise levels that may reach or exceed 85 decibels and will require use of hearing protection for most of the work shift Employees are required to wear all company provided Personal Protective Equipment (i.e., hard-hats, safety glasses, earplugs, uniforms, and steel-toed boots) in addition to job specific PPE requirements (i.e., fall protection equipment and respirators)
