The company was formed in October 2018 through a combination of Post Holdings’ private brands businesses and is owned by Post Holdings and funds affiliated with Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P. (“THL”), a private equity firm. **Responsibilities** **Position Summary:** The Production Leads is a valuable part of our team. In addition to performing the normal functions of their job, the Lead provides support to the production lines and performs training, onboarding, and troubleshooting as needed during their shift. At the direction of leadership, this role guides front-line employees to accomplish production and quality goals in a safe and cost-efficient manner. **Duties and Responsibilities:** Proactively monitor and measure production output and quality metrics daily by ensuring the production schedule is followed and all the required documentation (KPI sheets, work orders, operator check sheets, weight control sheets and quality control documents) are completed accurately and on time. Verify operation reports on an hourly basis, initialing required fields (i.e., KPI sheet, W/O, wt. control sheet, operator’s check sheet, and quality control documents) in accordance with standard procedures Ensure the team is following the procedures and complies with GMP and safety requirements. Complete CARs for GMP and PCO by every Tuesday Monitor and evaluate employees based on their attendance, productivity, attitude, teamwork, and provide feedback to the temp agency and your supervisor Coordinate with material handler for needed supply on production line in a timely fashion Coordinate line issues, troubleshooting, repairs, etc. with maintenance to minimize downtime, informing the supervisor and/or production manager Provide training and feedback to new employees and operators Report any non-conformance to the leadership team and suggest corrective actions accordingly Transfer unused raw material, packaging material, and finished goods back to the warehouse Partner with company leadership to proactively identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and sanitation Oversee food processing activities and Ensure production lines are changed efficiently and cost effectively Lead by example, creating an inspiring team environment by setting clear team goals and deadlines along with a culture of open communication Other duties, as assigned **Education and Experience Required:** High school Diploma or equivalent At least 2 years manufacturing experience Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime, as needed **Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:** Bilingual in Spanish Previous JDE experience an asset Good computer usage skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Effective written and verbal communication skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail **Physical Requirements:** Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Must be able to stand, bend, reach, walk and work in high heat/humidity for 8+ hours per shift Must be able to work in a dusty environment for 2+ hours per shift Must be able to perform simple grasping for 8+ hours Post Holdings provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, status as a covered veteran and any other category protected under applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws.
