You will be responsible for engaging the team during a shift to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, performance, and engagement. To achieve this, Production Leads are expected to provide the associates with the tools needed for success as well as drive productivity and efficiency through decisions and problem-solving. **Key Responsibilities:** **•** Ensure proper training and onboarding of all new team members • Coach team members on proper work processes and procedures • Ensure team members work at a pace to achieve 100% of daily productivity requirements • Remove obstacles and support team as appropriate to ensure achievement of daily production requirements • Drive a safety and 5S culture throughout the operation by ensuring all team members adhere to all safety &5S processes • Assign work and set deadlines for completion of work to team members • Recognize continuous improvement opportunities and recommend solutions and lead implementation • Model the behaviors we expect from all team members • Supporting all safety programs and OSHA and ISO compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all team members • Executing team performance goals and objectives to achieve customer promise expectations and ensure accuracy and quality • Executing productivity plans by reviewing work forecasts, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Production Leads to balance labor • Communicating policies to team members and act as the primary information source for the team • Maintaining compliance and consistency and taking corrective action when needed • Supporting and participating in recognition and communication programs **Job** Manufacturing **Organization** Cummins Inc. **Role Category** On-site **Job Type** Shop **ReqID** 2408933 **Relocation Package** No **Cummins and E-Verify** At Cummins, we are an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
