Job Description:

Production Lead ​- Mars Wrigley Plymouth - Weekend shift

£50,341.68 (Base pay + Shift allowance) + Company bonus

Weekend Shift 29 hours - Sat/Sun - (6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am) rotating plus 5 additional hours (Flexible)

Here at Mars we now have an exciting opportunity for a Production Lead to come and join our factory team! What are we looking for?

Experience in leadership within a manufacturing environment is essential.

Experience in an FMCG or high-speed production environment.

SAP literacy is desirable, or a good ability to learn new systems

Good understanding and knowledge of Microsoft based systems.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Handover with incoming and outgoing Production Leads

Organize shift manning, (lunch breaks & cover)

Planning Meeting attendance, and regular connections with Scheduling Department

Production Technical Operator

Regular and Team Leader cover

Standards check (GMP, CL, CIL, Shadow/Tool boards, 5S)

Escalations, Safety & Quality, update systems as required

End of shift handover report

Holiday bookings and management

Management of Purchase orders (Equipment, Tools, Training, Services)

Cover other roles as per business requirements
