Job Summary: As a Production Lead in the SR Final Assembly area, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are integral to constructing and finishing Cirrus' world class aircraft. Assists supervisor in coordinating activities of workers engaged in production or related activities.
Essential Duties:
Communicates, prioritizes, and assigns tasks to specific groups of employees in accordance to supervisor instructions Monitors employees' daily output and assigns workers to work stations to meet production requirements. Interprets process specifications for workers as needed. Confers with supervisor to receive instructions and exchange information. Performs "shop supervisor" inspections for specific areas of the work center. Monitors production and adjusts work assignments, supply of material, etc. Assists supervisor in identifying problem areas and recommends solutions. Responsible for immediate follow up on referral of employee conflicts or other employee related issues to the supervisor or manager. Trains and assists new employees in job responsibilities. May be asked to coordinate, develop, and provide on-the-job training for technicians. Understands all process specifications and pertinent reference information.Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required. 6 to 12 months related Cirrus manufacturing experience is preferred.
