Responsibilities
Production Line Lead or Room Lead - Night Shift - 2-2-3 Schedule
Responsible for meeting production goals, managing room performance and overall product run a Production Line (Cook, Mix Fill, Case Pack)Support start-up and change over actions of room while adhering to HACCP standardsIdentify causes of downtime and complete trouble shooting to reduce downtime.Data collection of production activitiesKnowledge of production processesAbility to operate machinery, identify proper machine settings and perform duties in absence of employeeVerify procedures and quality checks are followed and completed.Report re-occuring issues/concerns/downtime to Line Lead or Shift SupervisorVerify adherence to weight programCoordinate training of new hires and current employees in roomPromote and maintain a safe working environmentPerform sanitation duties in roomEnsure completion and accuracy of production paperwork in room.Other duties as assigned.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working knowledge of complete production line and understanding of Lean Management principles and concepts.Ability to use computer applications, including Microsoft products, Email, Oracle, Work order systemSolid understanding and application of all GMP’s and Safety proceduresEnsure accuracy of data tracking.Ability to use basic math skillsAbility to plan work load according to production schedule and requirementsAbility to recognize tasks that need to be completed and complete them.Occasional heavy lifting of raw ingredients with a weight range of 40 -60 pounds.Ability to use a pallet jack and powered lift.Effective communication and teamwork skillsAdhere to safe work practices, follow GMP’s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safetyFollow all SQF principles pertinent to your position as specified by the SQF Practitioner
