Production Line Lead
**Production Line Leader Opening** **Job Must Haves** + Minimum 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role + College Diploma + Ability to read and interpret assembly processes and wiring diagrams. + Experience with hand tools, and other standard production tools. + Proficient in basic computer applications, including Windows, Excel, and Word. **Job Description:** As a production line lead  they are responsible for supporting the Production Supervisor to meet the production requirements. To be successful in the role you will need to be a strong compassionate leader who enables new ideas and empowers team members to work together to accomplish goals.  Reporting Structure: Reports to the Materials Supervisor **Job Duties** + Coordinate daily production activities in the cell to meet customer commits, including with other functional teams + Cross over activities with day shift Supervisor + Work with team members to identify any quality and assembly document issues and work with appropriate team members to have them updated + Communicate with other Creation Team members, Program Managers, production supervisors and Engineers to ensure efficiency and high level of productivity + Performing Vision and work center updates. + Manage timecard tracking and absence in Workday HRIS system + Communicate Site updates and training requirements to the team + Assist with coordination of training of new team members on existing assembly processes + Assist with Continuous Improvement processes, and be prepared to help drive some of these changes + Lead daily tier one meetings + Oversee and manage team performance, providing guidance, day to day support, and feedback to ensure individual and collective goals are achieved. + Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality standards are consistently met. + Provide training to all production employees on best practices, safety procedures, and specific manufacturing processes. + Analyze data to identify and resolve systemic process and performance issues, contributing to continuous improvement efforts. + Foster a positive and motivated team environment, ensuring employees are engaged and productive. + Assist in scheduling production runs to meet customer demand and business objectives. + Work closely with quality teams to maintain high production standards and resolve assembly issues as needed. + Assist production employees with assembly challenges, utilizing resources like Engineering and Technical Support for guidance. + Collect data related to production performance and quality when needed + Perform other duties as required to support the production process and organizational goals. **Shift** + Afternoon Shift + Monday to Friday + 3:15 PM to 11:45 PM **Pay** + Starting at $27.00 an hour **Why work with Aerotek?** + Benefits (Health, dental, and vision) + Weekly pay + Vacation pay + Over-time available + Transit accessible **If you are interested, and meet all job must haves, please apply or send an updated resume to *psandhu@aerotek.com*** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr. **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Markham,ON. **À propos d'Aerotek:** Nous savons qu’il est difficile de trouver du travail, et qu’il est encore plus difficile de trouver un travail enrichissant.
