We are hiring for a Kitchen Line Lead to help produce Duke's Meat Snacks at our Macomb, MI manufacturing facility. You will report to a Kitchen Team Lead and join a team of about 50.
Shift: 1st shift, 5:30am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays based on production needs
Location: 23 Mile Rd. & Hayes
Hourly Rate: $23.00/hr
Pay is weekly
Reporting to the Kitchen Team Lead, you will manage the raw processing area staff to attain production and quality goals, identify problems/bottlenecks in the production process, resolve issues, and participate in continuous improvement opportunities.
You Will:
Prioritize safety above all else
Follow all GMPs and USDA guidelines
If you see something, say something
Monitor production to ensure that quality, productivity, and cost standards are maintained
Manage different functions of the business, creating an engaged and team-oriented work force
Ensure production resources such as materials and equipment are available
Enforce plant rules, regulations, and procedures
Evaluate general labor performance, communicate with employees, and provide information for work performance improvement
Participate in and support plant and company safety programs, promoting a high-level of awareness and adherence to defined employee safety requirements
Maintain accurate record-keeping
You Have:
A High School Diploma
2-3 years manufacturing experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Word, Outlook email
SAP experience
