Major Responsibilities
Ability to work independently and efficiently in handling assigned responsibilities.
Perform machine and quality checks as outlined on work instructions.
Must understand and follow the operator instructions for the area.
Must inspect in process parts and finished product to insure compliance with standards.
Must be able to effectively communicate process/product problems.
Requires good communication with team members.
Requires shift work and overtime.
Punctual presence (attendance and timeliness) on assigned work days.
Must be alert, working in an area of automation and constant moving equipment.
Must inspect incoming parts and outgoing shipments to insure compliance with Quality standards.
Must be able to operate all material handling equipment in an alert, safe and effective manner.
Processing of freight bills, packing slips, receiving reports, bill of lading, and other related receiving and shipping forms.
Accurate input of all transaction’s related to inventory into computer system.
Minor Responsibilities
Requires teamwork and participation of company activities such as IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001 and Employee Involvement.
Requires effective communication and involvement with team members and internal departments.
Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform duties with minimal supervision.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Maintain 5’s standards.
Physical Requirements
Requires work in an environment with limited movement.
Requires good hand/eye coordination due to the repetitive nature of the job
Requires constant standing and moving 8-12 hours per day
Must be able to constantly lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and kneel.
Must be able to apply up to 66lbs push/pull force unassisted.
Must be able to reach overhead.
