Job Description:
Production Machine Operators are system experts in their daily assigned area and with an expectation to become highly functional in multiple areas. These Operators must also ensure efficiency, operational conformance, product quality and continuous improvement. Functions as a member of an area team which is directly responsible for the efficient production of quality products in the required quantities. Operate/change over specified machinery in the assigned area. Production Machine Operators must have the drive and skill set to train and/or perform the tasks of other associates in the area as needed. This job requires Strong Communication, Interpersonal and Team Building skills to support site objectives.

Required Shifts:
12-hour Weekly Rotating Shifts: Day Shift: 6 am – 6:30 pm, Night Shift: 6 pm – 6:30 am, M - Th
8-hour Weekly Rotating Shifts: 1st Shift: 6 am – 2:30 pm, 2nd Shift: 2 pm – 10:30 pm, 3rd Shift: 10 pm – 6:30 am, M – F
Overtime required as needed to meet business needs.
Must be willing and able to work & accept varying shifts & schedules. Shift structure will change from time to time.
Physical/Environmental requirements
Standing and walking on a concrete floor consistently.Wearing proper personal protective equipment (hair net, hard hat, ear plugs, safety shoes, gloves, and uniform).Bending, stooping, twisting, turning, standing for extended periods, reaching, climbing stairs, pushing, pulling, and lifting, up to 50 lbs.Workplace transport equipment (forklift, yard dog, train) assignments require training and getting on and off frequently.Production areas are not conditioned. Temperatures inside the facility will vary depending on area and time of year.What are we looking for?High school diploma or equivalent.2+ years of manufacturing experience operating various packaging & processing machines preferred.Passion to work and learn in a manufacturing environment with career advancement opportunities. We want people that are dependable, ready to work, and want to grow with us.This job requires effective communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills to support site objectives.Prior experience in similar high-speed production environment is a plus.People that bring a sense of ownership to their team, machines, and performance outputs.Mechanical / troubleshooting background is needed. Or an aptitude and willingness to learn.Individual production and ownership within a team environment driven toward site success.What will be your key responsibilities?Performs all assigned activities & job tasks within production line or area.Adhere to personal safety practices & operate equipment in a safe & efficient manner.Able to assess equipment operating reliability & perform routine preventive maintenance, repairs, adjustments & malfunction troubleshooting.Performs and/or works with Maintenance to complete equipment preventive maintenance.High degree of ownership for product quality, performs all standard quality checks and other quality-related duties.Performs all shift support documentation in a quality matter.Performs QC tasks such as metal checks, inspection of date codes, item numbers, CCP and OPRP checks as required.Takes corrective actions in solving problems to the root cause level.Able to operate a computer and utilize the basic standard desktop systems.Loading material, clearing jams, resetting faults, changeovers, product quality checks report issues, and maintaining area GMP’s.Compensation:
