**Job Title: Production Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Production Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will operate production machines, oversee assembly lines, and ensure all processes are followed accurately. This role involves a mix of machine operation, general labor, and team leadership within a dynamic production environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate production machines efficiently and accurately.
+ Supervise a team of 2-3 general production employees on the manufacturing line.
+ Teach and cross-train team members in various positions and tasks.
+ Build, load, and unload pallets according to standard operating procedures.
+ Ensure adherence to all assembly line processes and quality standards.
+ Work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing to each aspect of the manufacturing process.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 1 year of experience as a production machine operator.
+ Experience in assembly line operations, manufacturing, and production line work.
+ Proficiency in pallet building, loading, and unloading.
+ Ability to work with hand tools and perform inspections.
+ Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with forklift operation is a plus.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a packaging manufacturing facility specializing in paper and wax paper products for the food industry. Employees work in shifts, with 1st shift from 7am to 3:10pm, 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:10pm, and 3rd shift from 11pm to 7:10am. The facility maintains a team-oriented atmosphere with a focus on quality and efficiency.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WESTFIELD, Massachusetts.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
