Production Machinist
**Responsibilities** + We are seeking a skilled Production Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will review technique cards, process sheets, blueprints, and drawings, while also measuring and positioning castings using a variety of measuring devices and fixtures. This position requires precision machining of castings to proper dimensions and configurations using drill presses, mills, lathes, and other machines. You will also inspect machined parts to assure quality and compliance with customer specifications. **Essential Skills** + Experience with lathes, CNC mills, drill presses, pedestal grinders, pallet jacks, hoists, dimensional measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges), and basic hand tools (e.g., wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers). + Strong understanding of blueprint reading and machining processes. + Experience with EDM and production machinery. + Effective communication skills and ability to train less experienced personnel. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Experience in a foundry environment is a plus. + Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment handling. **Why Work Here?** + We provide numerous opportunities for career growth and salary increases.
