Production Manager, Events

As an Event Production Manager with the Mediasite Events Team, you will play a key role in coordinating and delivering high-quality remote and on-site services for our clients. You will have an opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that project objectives are delivered in a timely and efficient manner, and that customers receive exceptional service throughout the entire project lifecycle. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a willingness to grow competency in a myriad of software and hardware solutions. This is a hybrid role and will require seasonal travel based on business needs.

Responsibilities


Understand all products and services related to Mediasite Events for both remote and on-site delivery. Create and manage detailed project plans, including documentation of deliverables, schedules, milestones, stakeholders, and venue logistics. Conduct project kick-off calls with internal teams and clients. Coordinate with Technical Leads to assign internal technicians and logistics resources. Book freelance technicians and union labor as needed. Gather and organize show assets, such as audio, video, image files, and copy for digital assets. Ensure ongoing communication between internal teams, clients, and third-party stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Travel to event venues for on-site services and oversee live and remote event execution. Conduct status update meetings with clients and document project progress. Escalate issues to Project Managers as necessary. Manage project closure activities, including client communication and satisfaction surveys. Document additional deliverables requested during the project and escalate scope changes. Handle project P&Ls, invoicing, revenue recognition, and vendor payment instructions.


Requirements


3+ years of experience in Project Management, Event Management, Media Production, or related fields. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace. Strong understanding of signal flow troubleshooting and video production software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with flexibility to adapt to evolving requirements. Ability to operate in both remote and on-site settings.
