MAU is hiring a Production Manager for our client in King of Prussia, PA. As a Production Manager, you will direct and coordinate all manufacturing activities in compliance with required output and quality standards. You will participate in the overall direction of manufacturing processes and related specifications. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
Benefits Package Competitive compensation package Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance 401k and 401k matching Sick leave Short and long-term disability Paid vacation Paid holidays Opportunity for advancement Shift Information 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree 5+ years of experience in the chemical manufacturing space Preferred Requirements Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering Lean Six Sigma Essential Functions Oversee the training of employees, setting of departmental production and performance goals, organization of work, and maintenance of a productive and motivational climate Oversee and participate in the development of performance, efficiency, and product quality standards for the plant’s chemical circuits Guide supervisors and technical support personnel regarding the coordination of plant standards with overall company objectives Manage production campaigns and inventory levels to optimize labor and equipment efficiencies Submit timely reports, as required, to the appropriate personnel Oversee the maintenance of proper levels of labor, the general conformance with employee rules, the issue of warnings, and the administration of disciplinary measures when necessary Ensure, through the supervisors and operators, the safe and environmentally sound operation of all production processes at KOP Operations Develop and support the strategic business unit strategies for KOP Operations Liaison between KOP Operations and external organizations (i.e., customer and civic affiliations) Establish operating budgets and forecasts, reflecting current and future short-run production capabilities Mentor professional growth and development of employees in the Production Department Coordinate production scale R&D trials Serve as a senior member of the plant staff in the development and implementation of plant policies and procedures Develop, review, and revise circuit SOPs as necessary using the Qualtrax system Perform other tasks as assigned #PS
