Job Description

Are you an experienced people leader with a passion for coaching and developing large teams? Do you have a continuous improvement mindset? Do you like a fast paced role, as part of a network?

We are recruiting for a Production Manager for our Severnside Plant. This role reports directly into the Plant Manager and is responsible for all operations on site, and driving CI . A fantastic role for someone with experience in developing and leading large teams.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Effective implementation of Zero Harm and Safety DifferentlyEffective implementation of Zero Defect policies and procedures.Achieve production and efficiency targetsIncrease Process RelaibilityEngagement of operations teams in business values and objectives Design and implementation of change based on data and root cause (i.e. risk assessments, root cause analysis, 5S, best in class benchmarking & reapplication)..Monitoring and reporting CI metrics including plant efficiency, OEE, Near miss, product flow complianceLeading and facilitating improvement activity using Kaizen and DMAIC approach

What you'll need:

 

Ideally Six Sigma Green Belt qualification or CI/lean based qualificationNEBOSH qualified. IOSH acceptedExperienced in lean based/CI operational role would be an advantage.Experienced in team and shift leadershipIdeally worked in a quality focused environment and familiar with quality-based standards.·Highly organised with a flexible, pro-active, self-motivated and persistent approach.Good coaching skills.Proven skills and capabilities in communication and problem solving.Experienced in the application of MS-OfficeCapabilities in leadership, project management and change
