Job Title: Production Manager   

Job Summary:

In charge of the operational management of manufacturing including maintenance, production, quality, projects and production planning. Ensuring with its management the harmonious development of all the departments under his charge and their interrelation with other areas of the Company.

Job Description:

Establish a system to guarantee the proper functioning of the manufacturing machines Coordinate preventive or corrective maintenance with supervisors. Ensure the production of products for sale in quantity, quality and cost, according to request Provide the means and assistance to achieve the planning and execution of the production plan. Establish the objectives to ensure optimal quality of products in warehouse on time. Maintain budgetary control of industrial expenses related to the manufacturing of products. Maintain control of the correct use of raw material and supplies with the best performance, meeting specified production standards. Ensure product quality and good manufacturing practices Provide resources for continuous improvement of the manufacturing process Control and evaluate all key performance indicators through the production line. Coordinate with the Maintenance Management the mechanical and electrical effectiveness of all production equipment. Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies. Manage existing resources to maintain efficient and productive operation. Ensures that the short and long-term goals are achieve. Maintains a proactive teamwork environment. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Comply with safety rules and ensure people are complying with safety rules when performing a work in the manufacturing area. Comply with GMP and Food Safety Quality System requirements. Performs other duties as assigned. Comply with the policies, procedures and processes established by the company.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, electrical, electromechanical Engineering or Master Degree in management.

Experience:

5-10 years of experience as a manager in manufacturing industry. Extensive knowledge in automation and industrial processes. Must be bilingual (English and Spanish) with strong supervisory and leadership skills

Requirements:

be able to work weekends, overtime, holidays and rotating shifts.

Physical Requirements

Work requires sitting, standing, and/or walking for periods of five hours or more, moving and examining objects at high and low reach, and reading for periods of three hours or more. Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds if necessary and regularly stand, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and balance. This position also requires manual dexterity/fine motor skills.
