Overview
The Production Manager position supports and oversees operations of the wood division at our Stokesdale, NC manufacturing plant in an effort to achieve company objectives for safety, cost, delivery, quality, employee engagement and customer service. This position resides in our manufacturing facility in Stokesdale, NC.
Key Responsibilities
Driving employee engagement, training and development to maximize safety
Supervises staff to include hiring, training, evaluating performance and determining disciplinary actions when necessary
Creating an environment in the plant where personnel development is encouraged and facilitated
Managing the P&L, driving all operations to meet or exceed the plan (budget)
Labor costs, overhead, and acquiring suitable yields is essential to financial performance
Meeting customer requirements is fundamental to the success of our business
Shipping orders on time with good quality and service is a requirement
Managing production scheduling to maximize productivity and reduce wasted labor
Excellent communications are required with the G.M., Sales, and the Nacogdoches Team
Managing inventory actively with the goal of having reliable inventory counts on the floor
Effective system implementation and cycle counts at wise intervals
Develop a culture based on open/honest dialogue and involvement with all employees
Driving a culture of high performance and accountability

Develop a thorough understanding and knowledge of processes used to produce including material conveying systems, moulders, paint systems, double end tennoners, mortising equipment, finger jointers, and dust collection systems.

Configurable Products: 3 years (Preferred)
