Summary of Role:

We are recruiting for a Production Manager based on-site in our Glenrothes and/or Livingston facilities, in a working environment where everyone can grow and contribute as part of a successful, inclusive, high performing culture.

The Production Manager will be a key leading figure within a customer-focussed cross-functional team and will be responsible for the manufacture of a range of electronic and electro-mechanical products, managing a team of Production Supervisors, Associates and Engineers. Driving excellent teamwork and flawless execution in delivery, quality, safety, and cost.

Main Duties:

Control Account Manager (CAM) for the Manufacturing functionControl of touch labour Hours Per Unit, and other manufacturing budgetsDevelopment and execution of production plans to achieve customer on-time deliveryManagement of high mix, and frequently changing priorities using Lean Manufacturing conceptsEmployee Performance DevelopmentOwnership of all safety proceduresDriver of process and quality improvements utilising RTX CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence)Based on-site in Glenrothes and/or Livingston facilities, the Production Manager is expected to attend and support at both sites, depending on product requirements

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

Experience in a Production Management, Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Operations related roleQualified to Degree or Diploma level in a Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Operations related discipline

Desirable:

Experience in an Electronics / Electro-mechanical manufacturing environmentExperience in management of budget versus bidHighly effective people management skillsHighly effective organisational and communication skillsA highly effective, disciplined approach in the work environmentExperience in using SAP / shopfloor control systemsExperience in EVMS (Earned Value Management System)
