Production Manager Details:

Direct Hire position$75,000.00 to $85,000.00 /annuallyFirst ShiftCommunicate effectively with team members to ensure clear understanding of quality standards, safety protocols, company policies, production goals, plant performance efficiency, and business updates.Lead and supervise production team members, including responsibilities for recruitment, performance evaluations, discipline, training, documentation, coaching, fostering teamwork, and employee motivation.Develop and manage work schedules while ensuring proper coverage for absences and guaranteeing that production targets are consistently met.Prepare and present detailed production reports, ensuring that production schedules are established, followed, and continuously monitored for performance.Coach and provide guidance to employees on work habits, personal conduct, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe and productive environment.Serve as a backup for Plant Management, taking on leadership responsibilities in their absence to maintain smooth operations.Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to supporting overall production goals and facility success.Monitor and enforce performance metrics by evaluating facility performance data, providing constructive feedback, and implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure team members consistently meet production goals, quality standards, and efficiency targets.

Production Manager Qualifications:

7-10 years’ experience in supervision of fabricating and welding manufacturing.Good verbal and written skills in English; ability to work with all employees; Ability to utilize as well as create effective Excel spreadsheets. Use Word, Express Outlook, PowerPoint, MES, and Epicor.High level of accuracy in basic math and use of 10 key calculator.Proficient in reading blueprints.Ability to associate cause and effect relationships and determine patterns of activity in anticipation of change to the operation or personnel.
