Our client, a leading manufacturing company specializing in injection molding for industries such as medical, automotive, and aerospace, is seeking a Production Manager to oversee operations at their Chatsworth, CA facility. This role involves managing production processes, supervising multiple shifts, coordinating staffing, and ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee material handling, assembly, and janitorial teams, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.Maintain housekeeping standards and compliance with safety regulations.Develop and implement production work instructions to improve processes.Ensure proper training for personnel to maximize productivity.Collaborate with staffing agencies to meet workforce demands.Monitor inventory, shipping, and receiving, ensuring First In, First Out (FIFO) practices.Supervise first, second, and third shifts, addressing staffing and quality concerns.Provide data-driven insights to management to minimize losses and improve processes.

Requirements:

5+ years of production management experience (injection molding experience not required).Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to multitask and oversee multiple shifts.Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).Experience with payroll, inventory management, shipping, and attendance tracking.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and order processing systems.Familiarity with ISO/QS system documentation is a plus.

Pay & Schedule:

Salary: $72,000 per year.Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (shorter Fridays).Position Type: Temp-to-hire or direct hire opportunity.
