As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of the operating plan for your assigned production unit, while ensuring the operation is safe, efficient, in environmental compliance, on budget, on time and in specification. **As a Production Manager, you create chemistry by...** + Being accountable for daily environmental & safety compliance and implementing the incident investigation process, including root cause analysis, action items, documentation, and follow-up for incidents occurring in your area. + Supporting implementation and follow-up on maintenance processes and process optimization (Daily follow-up through Visual Boards). Additionally, you will support Process Optimization activities, participate and communicate to Daily Execution in macro production planning and scheduling (S&OP), and support Quality and ISO processes. + Providing capital project support to prioritize projects from a unit/business/site perspective to maximize benefit. + Establishing plant goals, objectives, and operational budgets to assure continuous improvement, and managing budgeting changes for Production accounts. You will also provide resources for and follow-up on the implementation of Lean tools. + Engaging within the organization by interfacing with Global Production and Business Units and supporting the Knowledge Coordinator in knowledge capture and transfer. + Coaching and developing personnel into high-performance teams, identifying training needs, leveraging training opportunities, and utilizing the talent development process to promote team member development.
