Production Manager
**Job Description:** THE OPPORTUNITY The Production Manager will coordinate all aspects of assigned projects from product concept through file delivery. They will ensure their team adheres to the process, schedule and budget, working in concert with all department stakeholders. Assigned projects could include mixture of both print products and digitally delivered content. In addition to the regularly assigned projects, this position may, working with the Associate Director, manage the reprint process: including keeping the database up to date, setting priorities, and trafficking files. RESPONSIBILITIES + Coordinate all aspects of production from manuscript to press-ready files in concert with all stakeholders, ensuring adherence to schedule and budget. This includes all acquisitions that are attached to the assigned project. + Schedule and manage processes for content delivery into both print and digital products + Resolve queries throughout the production process, involving the appropriate stakeholders + Create, revise, and maintain production schedules for weekly production status meetings + Manage the quality control of digital assets to ensure compliance with file naming protocols, folder structures, printer specs, font standards, and stylesheets + Traffic files and deliverables between departments and outside vendors using the WoodWing Studio publishing system and other related systems + Maintain good relationships and clear communication with co-workers and vendors + Hire vendors, create contracts, and process production-related invoices and vendor contracts for all assigned projects + Manage complete reprint process working across all departments. This includes print and digital products. Run reports to prioritize work.
