SUMMARY:
In this role, the incumbent will manage production activities at the Plant, insuring excellent Safety and Quality standards, contributing to reach Service Plant goals by running predictable and efficient operations and promoting improvement plans inside the Production Teams through TPM methodology. As part of the Plant Leadership Team (PLT), this position supports the Plant Manager in definition and review of Compelling Business Needs (CBN), as well as in implementation of an efficient Performance Control System (PCS).
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Plan, coordinate, and supervise production activities to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
· Ensures adherence to production schedule, and identifies/corrects potential production problems
· Collaborates with planning/purchasing Teams to maintain adequate stock levels.
· Manage the production team, providing continuous support and training to improve skills and performance.
· Monitor and optimize production process efficiency, identifying and implementing continuous improvements, and reporting KPIs to Plant Manager.
· Ensures that each production area is organized to meet higher 5S standards;
· Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and logistics, to ensure a smooth and integrated workflow.
· Provides feedback to the technical Department in order to improve equipment’s design.
· Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the plant, according to Ecolab’s policies
· Manage the production department optimizing production costs and resources.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Technical degree (mechanical engineer,…).
· Previous experience in a production management role, preferably in the chemical or manufacturing industry.
