Job Summary:
The Product Assembler is responsible for assembling various products, including sensors, sensor kits, cable assemblies, instrument cases, and other related components, under the guidance of the Supervisor – Sensors. The role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to meet production goals while ensuring quality and safety.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assembly: Assemble a wide range of products, including sensors, sensor kits, cable assemblies, instrument cases, and other components, following detailed instructions and specifications. Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control, tracking parts and materials, and ensuring stock levels meet production needs. Testing & Quality Control: Support testing procedures to ensure product functionality and quality, making necessary adjustments as required. Packaging & Shipping: Assist with the preparation, packaging, and shipping of finished products to ensure timely delivery. Tool Operation: Utilize standard assembly tools (e.g., drill presses, grinders, routers) and precision instruments for the assembly and testing of products.

Requirements:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Required: Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic principles and components. Experience using standard tools such as drill presses, grinders, routers, and proficiency in soldering. Preferred: Experience in a similar assembly or manufacturing environment is a plus.

Skills & Communication:

Language: Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication and adherence to assembly instructions. Attention to Detail: Ability to follow detailed instructions and quality standards. Team Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills to work efficiently within a team, supporting others as needed to meet production goals.

Physical & Mental Effort:

Physical Demands: Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally. Mental Demands: The role requires working in a fast-paced environment, meeting critical production deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

Working Conditions:

Environment: Work is performed in a test lab, warehouse, and workshop setting. Safety Considerations: Occasional exposure to 120VAC/240VAC electrical systems and voltages above 30kV. Adherence to safety protocols is required.
