Your role:
You will have an integral role in our commitment to ensuring a positive difference is made to millions of people’s lives through your role as a Production Operative working within Dry Powder Media Production. You will have a varied, challenging and rewarding role working within in a highly regulated manufacturing environment preparing various batches for the manufacture of Dry Powder and Liquid Media. This role is working on a 4 on 4 off basis consisting of 2 days 2 nights, working 12-hour shifts of 8-8.
Key accountabilities will include:
Ensures the formulation rooms and equipment are clean and audit-ready state.Completes all documentation in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (EXCiPACT GMP).Ensures process rooms are within specification prior to use.Verifies scales are in specification prior to use using check weights from 1g to 25 kgWeighs batch aliquot amounts of raw materials within the required tolerances from bulk containers using SAP scale interface.Uses SAP for formulation of the raw materials required for both Dry Powder Media (DPM) and liquid media manufacture documenting on electronic batch records.Performs desiccation and lyophilisation processes for raw materials required for DPM manufacture documenting on electronic batch records.Performs housekeeping for raw materials within SAP and the raw material pantry.Cleans and/or prepares Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC’s), super sacks, equipment, glassware and the formulation areas in preparation for batch formulation.Prioritises workload to allow effective completion to meet the Production Schedule and communicate to supervisors and production colleagues of any delays.Who you are:
Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment or hold a HND/HNC or above qualification in a Scientific area.You will possess effective numeracy and literacy skills and be well versed in ensuring accurate work is always maintained.Experience in a GMP environment is desirable.Previous systems experience is desirable, direct experience of using SAP is advantageous.
