Job Title: Production Operator (1 st & 2 nd Shift) Job Location: New Castle County, De Job Type: Contract to Hire Work Schedule: + Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm and 3pm-11:30pm Compensation: + 20/hr. w/opportunity to receive benefits Key Responsibilities: + Machine Operation: Operate and maintain production machinery and conveyors according to standard operating procedures. + Heavy Lifting: Safely lift and move materials, equipment, or products, often requiring manual lifting of heavy objects (up to [weight specification]). + Conveyor Operations: Monitor and maintain smooth operation of conveyor systems, ensuring proper alignment and troubleshooting minor issues as they arise. + Safety Compliance: Adhere to company safety procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators, N95 masks, gloves, ear protection, and safety goggles. + Environmental Hazards: Work in a non-climate-controlled environment with exposure to heat, dust, and other environmental factors; ability to work in varying weather conditions. + MSHA Compliance: Follow all MSHA regulations and safety standards, including safe handling of materials, machinery operation, and emergency protocols. + Quality Control: Inspect materials and finished products for quality, reporting any defects or malfunctions to supervisors. + Production Goals: Meet daily production targets while maintaining high standards for quality and safety. + Cleanliness & Maintenance: Ensure work area is kept clean and organized. Participate in routine maintenance of equipment and machinery as needed. + Collaboration: Work effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and resolve operational issues. Qualifications: + Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to [insert weight]) and stand or walk for extended periods.
