1st Shift General Production Operator
Wage: $25.47 hour plus night shift and Sunday premiums
Location city, state: Kiel, Wisconsin
Hours: 6am-2pm (Start and End times may vary based on production needs)
Overtime: Eligible for overtime after 8 hours
Schedule: 10 days on & 4 days off. Every other weekend is a 4-day weekend off.
$2500 Sign On Bonus
You will receive a sign-on bonus of $500.00 after 60 days of employment. After six months of employment, you will receive a $1,000.00 retention bonus, and after one year of employment you'll receive your second payment of your retention bonus of $1,000.00. All totaled you will receive $2,500.00 in sign-on and retention bonuses.
The Production Operator is the front-line employee who performs the manufacturing processes that add value and quality to the inputs and create the final high-quality final products. There are a variety of sub-classifications within the Operator job family that could range in specific duties from receiving and handling the raw materials, adding value through a variety of proprietary processes, to packaging the final product. In all stages of production safety, attention to detail, a quality and sanitation focus, and efficiency are key to the success of the operation.
EDUCATON:
High School Diploma or GED, preferredREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
6 plus months of solid work experience in any industryStrong computer skillsAbility to follow manufacturer's specifications and directionMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
18 years or olderAble to work in a fast-paced environmentWork in cold and/or hot temperatures throughout the dayAdhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs)Self-reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision Ensures a safe working environment while performing assigned tasksCustomer focused and able to work in a collaborative team Ability to be flexible in work performed and scheduleAbility to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and possess basic mathematical skillsAbility to lift/carry up to 55 lbs.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
6 plus months of solid work experience in a continuous process environment preferredExperience communicating with supervisors and co-workers in a team environment.Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is a plusKnowledge of various pieces of high- tech manufacturing processing and packaging equipment.Physical Requirements for production positions regularly include:
