Quanex IG Systems is looking for Production Operator - 2nd Shift & 3rd Shift to join our team located in Cambridge, OH.

The Production Operator's primary function is to produce quality products with minimum scrap. The Operator must demonstrate the ability to operate all equipment and tools necessary to complete the process of producing product.

What Success Looks Like:
• Set up equipment and complete changeovers timely
• Produce and use Material Identification labels/computer knowledge preferred
• Identify quality material prior to packaging
• Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notify supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues
• Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day
• Maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S Standards
• Promote teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers

Your Credentials:
• One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• High School or GED preferred
• Willing to work overtime including weekends
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. on an infrequent basis

The Hourly wage for this position is $18 per hour + $1/hr. shift premium for 3rd Shift.
