Production Operator
Performs routine and purely repetitive tasks using standard procedures, tools, and equipment. Production process includes Machining, Laser, Wash & Passivation, Leak Test (Pressure Decay vs. Helium), Adhesive Application. Workers are organized in teams. Teams are responsible for the daily operation of their production line and meeting production targets to perform and complete the assigned duties in timely manner. They are responsible for the quality of the manufactured parts, the condition of the machine tools and equipment that are used. Ensures a clean and organized working environment in accordance with operational regulations.
Performance Expectations
· Operates and maintains machinery and production line equipment
· Performs visual check of production equipment, machinery, supplies (at the beginning of every shift and before executing the job orders)
· Maintains workstation and production floor clean, safe, and organized. Cleans workplace daily (used equipment, machine, floor)
· Reports all defects and unsafe operations immediately to the supervisor or manager
· Follows health and safety standards (safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation). Complies with safety precautions by systematically rectifying faults
· Repairs any minor electrical malfunctions and carries out appropriate repairs
· Other assigned tasks as needed
Credentials
· High School Diploma or GED required
· 1-3 years of automotive manufacturing experience preferred

· Ability to cope with rapid and sudden changes in information - ability to respond to them adequately
· Ability to perform mechanical, routine work

· Available for shift work
· Able to work overtime as required
· Physical dexterity - moderate physical demand
· Lift up to 40 pounds
· Stand and/or walk up to 12 hours
